Granville's- The Best Meal in Columbia in a while

This little nook that just opened in the space where Tiffany's Bakery used to be is truly fabulous. Granville's food is all local, organic, and exceptional. The atmosphere is minimalist with inviting lighting. The staff is nice, helpful, and they really believe and care about their work. But for me it was the quality of the food that made this place so memorable.

I had a salad with local butter beans, avocado, and greens that tasted sweet, earthy, and brimming with flavor. We also had a fish and chips with hand cut chips double fried for an added crisp coating. My father the had beef bourguignon. The flavors were impeccably close to the French dish that he fondly remembered from a visit to the country.

The prices are very inexpensive and the menu was short so that any ordering intimidation could be avoided. And if you recognize the name from the extraordinary caterers in Charleston, you'd be right on the money. These guys don't disappoint.
